Meet Lindsey C. Kofoed

After graduating from the University of South Florida, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in writing, Lindsey attended Stetson University College of Law where she became a member of Stetson’s Law Review. While at Stetson, Lindsey participated in the Business Law Society, the Health Care Law Association and served as Research Assistant to Professor Kristen Adams for two semesters, researching the increasing prevalence of hate crimes against the homeless. Lindsey’s Law Review Note was titled, When It Hits Home: Protecting the Homeless Under Federal Hate Crime Laws, and can be found in the online library of the Florida Coalition for the Homeless.

As a student, Lindsey clerked at Florin Roebig for almost a year before graduation. She graduated from Stetson in December 2008, cum laude and in the top ten percent of her class, and was the recipient of the National Order of Scribes award for outstanding legal writing while in law school.

Lindsey has lived in Palm Harbor for many years and has two children.
