Florin Roebig shareholders Wil Florin and Tommy Roebig recently settled a pedestrian injury case for $1.5 million. The plaintiff was exiting a supermarket and in the process of walking to his vehicle in the parking lot. The plaintiff was struck by the defendant driver’s Nissan SUV while she was making a right hand turn to exit the supermarket parking lot. The defendant’s vehicle tire lay next to the plaintiff after running over his shoulder. The plaintiff sustained several fractures and was trapped underneath the defendant’s Nissan SUV. Local fire fighters arrived and were aided by several customers and employees of the supermarket to physical lift the Nissan SUV off of the plaintiff to extract him. All of the events involved in this incident were captured on the supermarkets CCTV cameras in front of the store. Fortunately our client is now on the road to recovery.
