Meet Kevin L.M. Stevens

Kevin was born and raised in a small town in northwestern Wisconsin. Kevin attended college at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire (UWEC). His undergraduate interests included mentoring fellow first-generation college students, attending French Club meetings, disc golf, and spending time with his then-girlfriend (now-wife). After spending a summer as an intern with a public defender’s office, Kevin knew he wanted to practice law and help people in vulnerable legal situations. In 2015, he graduated magna cum laude from UWEC with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a minor in French.

Kevin and his wife chose to attend the University of Oregon School of Law due to a strong legal research and writing program, the opportunity to live in the same city as his grandmother, and a generous academic merit-based scholarship offer. During his law school career, Kevin was active as a volunteer and intern with a non profit legal firm, Access the Law. He also served as a board member for the Oregon Law Students’ Public Interest Fund and participated in many activities at the Newman Center. Kevin moved to Minnesota shortly after graduating law school in 2018. Kevin spent most of his post-graduate career as a legal editor with Thomson Reuters before joining Florin Roebig in 2023.

Kevin now lives in St. Paul with his wife, two beautiful daughters, and their two rescue dogs.
