For the 16th time in the last 19 years Stetson University College of Law has been ranked first in the nation for Trial Advocacy by U.S. News & World Report. Additionally, Stetson has been ranked sixth in the nation for Legal Writing. Stetson is also ranked among the top 100 law schools in the country.
Florin Roebig is honored to have eight trial attorneys dedicated to trial advocacy that have graduated from Stetson University College of Law. Shareholders Wil Florin and Tommy Roebig, who are both Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyers by The Florida Bar and The National Board of Trial Advocacy, as well as Board Certified as Civil Pretrial Practice Advocates by the National Board of Legal Specialty Certifications. Firm associates that attended Stetson include Dr. James Huddlestun, Rachael Wood, Lindsey Kofoed, Thomas Kane, Jr. and Chase Florin.
Stetson University College of Law also has the Florin Roebig Courtroom, which is one of the largest and most technologically advanced teaching courtrooms in the country. The Florin Roebig Courtroom first opened in 1993 and was renovated and re-dedicated in 2006. The courtroom includes audio/visual capabilities to maintain current trial technological demands, tiered seating for students and spectators, a jury room and judges’ chambers. The courtroom greatly improved Stetson’s ability to train nationally-competitive trial teams. The lobby adjacent to the courtroom features two trophy cases filled with Stetson’s numerous advocacy awards.
