Meet Marcus R. Rodriguez

Marcus R. Rodriguez is an attorney in the Palm Harbor office of Florin|Roebig, where he focuses his practice on property insurance litigation and construction law. He represents residential and commercial property owners in insurance disputes involving hurricane, wind, fire, water, hail, and mold damage. Marcus also represents contractors and mitigation professionals asserting claims as assignees of insured rights.

In addition to insurance claims, Marcus handles a range of construction-related legal matters, including construction defect cases, contract disputes, and issues of liability arising during building and restoration projects.

Prior to joining Florin|Roebig, Marcus practiced at a Florida-based law firm dedicated to representing homeowners, contractors, and restoration companies in complex property damage claims. Earlier in his career, he served as an insurance defense attorney, representing carriers in workers’ compensation cases—experience that gives him a strategic advantage when litigating against insurance companies today.

Marcus earned his J.D. from Barry University and holds a B.A. in International Relations with a minor in Spanish from Samford University, where he was a student-athlete on a baseball scholarship and earned All-Conference honors. He is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts.
