On Tuesday night, after a seven-day jury trial and over 11 hours of deliberation, a three man and three woman Pinellas County jury handed down a $7.6 million dollar ($7,556,438) verdict in favor of our client Ehab Mina, who was seriously injured after falling into a ground spa pool that had been emptied without notice. The verdict was returned against two Florida corporations (Boca Ciega Resort & Marina Condominium Associates, Inc. and Condos by Sirata, Inc.) who were each found 50% at fault. This trial result is believed to be one of the largest jury verdicts in Clearwater, Florida courthouse history.
